This is an unusual site featuring over 30 small ammunition storage buildings on the edge of farmland on the north west tip of the Cotentin peninsula.
Located inland from the many coastal defensive sites and the major radar station and anti-aircraft gun site around Omonville-la-Rogue, it was clearly a depot for large amounts of ammo but seems a long distance away from sites which would require quick re-supply.
Supporting the site are two small personnel shelters, although these are difficult to spot as the buildings have become overgrown by hedges and just a few fragments of concrete are still visible.
Within the lines of ammo stores there's a small machine gun post which has a field of view to the north west of the site.
