Located on the north western tip of the Cotentin peninsula in the Baie d’Ecalgrain, Wn311 features just one remaining building.
This is a Vf58c Tobruk for a heavy machine gun and is one of the most commonly built defensive structures on the Atlantikwall with thousands of them constructed along its length.
The Tobruk here once stood on the cliffs, but erosion has left it on the beach.
