Just one small casemate remains at the Gr30 site near Kairon Plage to the south of Granville.
This R667 casemate once housed a 5cm KwK anti-tank gun and covered the mouth of the Le Thar river and the sandy beach area to the north.
The casemate has been incorporated into the small beachfront café near to the car park and promenade.
