Tre04 Le Treport
Anti-aircraft gun site on top of cliffs

Tre04 Le Treport site overview

What to see
Strongpoint Tre04 stands on the high cliffs to the west of the large port town of Le Treport. Despite its lofty location, with commanding views over the town and coast, it featured only a small number of defensive structures.
The largest and most obvious build still remaining is a L410 type emplacement for a 3.7cm anti-aircraft gun which also featured a small command post for the crew who manned the gun. It can be found at the edge of the large car park for recreational vehicles.
Further east there are the remains of two machine gun positions which are right on the edge of the cliffs near to the Funicular railway station which operates cable cars to take you through the centre of the chalk cliffs to the town below.
