Located on the eastern side of Le Treport, bunker site Tre011 was a small batterie featuring four Czech-built Skoda 10cm calibre field guns and covered the area south east of the town of Ault and out to sea which is around 3.5km away.
Tre011 is an example of a developing site where only two of four planned casemates were completed to protect the guns, the two remaining weapons would be in the open and susceptible to damage from air attacks.
Both casemates are in decent condition for their age, although suffering from the effects of 80 years of weathering.
Behind the casemates is a small observation/pillbox type of building while along the Rue de Stade road back towards the village of Le Croix is a small garage-like construction which was possibly used as a stable for the horses which towed the guns around.
