There isn’t much left to see at the Pen01 site at Mesnil Val Plage, just a few kilometres south west of Le Treport with just two ammunition storage bunkers visible.
Both are tricky to spot. Although buried, the entrance to one can be found between private properties on Avenue Leon Meriot with the second on Avenue du Golf near to the edge of the cliffs.
Two special construction Leitstands, or observation posts, stood on the top of the cliffs to the east of the village but both are now in pieces on the rocky beach below. Beware if visiting as the tide can reach the bottom of the cliffs at certain times of year and you can get cut off from the access point near to the beachfront car park at the end of the D126 road.
