Die07 Dieppe
Luftwaffe anti-aircraft site on cliffs west of Dieppe

Die07 Dieppe site overview

What to see
This Luftwaffe strongpoint on the cliffs to the west of the port town of Dieppe was once an anti-aircraft batterie with a dual role to protect the town to the east and Die010 radar site on Mont Robin standing inland of the cliffs.
Most of the buildings have become overgrown and inaccessible while others are incorporated into private gardens. The site once featured an L434a Luftwaffe squadron command bunker and several positions for large calibre anti-aircraft guns.
These were supported two ammunition storage bunkers and personnel shelters. One of the L407 ammunition bunkers now rests in large pieces at the base of the cliff on the beach below, and if you're wondering why it looks like an unusual layout when you go inside it's because it's upside down. Be careful if visiting.
