A single Tobruk is all that remains accessible at this small resistance next located on the beach front at Luc-sur-Mer to the west of the main Sword Beach landing areas.
It’s located on the western flank of a complex which once featured two 1694 type Ringstands of 5cm KwK anti-tank guns plus five Tobruks for machine guns and mortars.
A hooded Ringstand remains in a private garden at the eastern flank but isn’t accessible to the public.
The accessible Tobruk stands on the sea wall behind the no closed off jetty and open car park at the end of Rue de la Breche Marais.
