Wiederstandsnest 261 Oleander was a small bunker site with a large number of Vf1a and the heavier duty Vf2a type personnel shelters, ammunition stores, and three Vf3 type positions which were a 360 degree machine gun posts located in an outer rim around the other shelters.
Two of the Vf3 builds remain, the third is on the edge of the cliff and doesn't have long left. All of the other shelters are either buried or no longer in place.
This site stands north of the radar and anti-aircraft site at Stp262 Nessel and just south of the Boulogne-sur-Mer aerodrome site known as strongpoint Stp259 Pechnelke.
