Wn73 is situated high on the cliffs at the western end of Omaha Beach at Vierville-sur-Mer and has a commanding view over the beach to the east of the position.
Located halfway up the cliff facing east you can find a block type construction known as a Pakstand where a 75mm Pak field gun was located. This little gun bunker is accessible with care and inside you can see a couple of niches and get an amazing view along the beach.
High on the cliff - now inside the holiday park - you can find a series of shelters and Tobruks. It's advisable not to venture to these buildings as there are on the edge of a very dangerous cliff face.
