A small Napoleonic fort once stood on this small headland to the east of Cherbourg. Today the mound features the remains of three Vf58c type Tobruks for machine guns plus a central Bf69 Tobruk for a mortar and an open emplacement which once housed a 5cm KwK gun.
Largely overgrown, you can also find several areas of concrete and small entrances to smaller builds likely to have been used ammunition storage.
