There's so much to see inside this superb museum, it's worth a couple of hours of your time to walk around and read the information boards on the objects on display.
Inside there's a wealth of material from the D-Day landings with uniforms, weapons, vehicles, a superb collection of helmets, archive papers and photos, and lots of things that go bang (all inert now!).
Outside you can get up close to a Sherman tank and an original Belgian Gate beach defence structure.
One of the most popular in the area it can get really busy in the summer tourist season and difficult to find a parking spot nearby so best visited earlier or later in the year.
