A giant First World War airship hangar that was used by occupying and Allied forces during WW2 too, latterly as a storage site.
The scale of the hangar is simply breathtaking and inside you can see original wall drawings left by the US troops located here from late 1944. The building near to the hangar house a great little museum of local artefacts, a model of what the site looked like during the war, plus several vehicles and the remains of a Focke Wulf German fighter aircraft.
