This new Croix de Lorraine monument honours the French resistance who played a part in freeing their occupied homeland with clandestine operations and support of the Allied forces before, during, and following D-Day.
It was erected in the town square opposite the famous church with the paratrooper dummy suspended from its spire for the 80th anniversary celebrations in June 2024.
