Located to the east of the fishing town of Grandcamp Maisy, Wn77 at Pointe le Hable is a small but powerful bunker site designed to protect the eastern side of the port.
Here the defences were based around four Tobruks – two each for machine guns and two for 5cm mortars – plus an observation position and machine gun post located on the shoreline.
Although no longer visible, the positions were connected by a network of trenches.
