Stp182 Admiral
Small strongpoint on the outskirts of Audinghen
Stp182 Admiral site overview
What to see
Hundreds of thousands of people have driven past this bunker site as they made their way to the nearby Batterie Todt and other Cap Gris Nez locations.
We bet that most have seen the religious statue next to the roundabout on the outskirts of Audinghen but not realised that it stands in front of a small strongpoint known as Stp182 Admiral set up to defend the road junction between the larger Todt and Grosser Kurfurst batteries.
With care you can still see a storage/personnel shelter - albeit very overgrown – and the remains of two Tobruks for machine guns and a cable bunker which carried communication wires between the many strongpoints and batteries in the area.
