Two R622 double group shelters are the only two buildings remaining at the bunker site designated Trou027 on the south east outskirts of Trouville-sur-Mer, and both are difficult to find.
The first stands in the grounds of a college with the second bunker now hidden behind tall hedges in a private garden with a domestic property built on top on Avenue d’Eylau.
You can see parts of the R622 in the grounds of the college around 350 metres south east though, with a section of roof and a now filled in Tobruk visible on the corner of Rue Berthier and Rue du Rocher.
A few metres away from the R622 is a small concrete dome which looks similar to periscope apertures found on troop and HQ bunkers but is too far away from the R22 to have been used for this purpose. The concrete looks of the era rather than modern and could be a simple base for a communications aerial.
