Only two buildings remain at these two sites to the west of Cabourg town centre – both are early type double embrasure casemates for machine guns.
Located right on the beach, they are partially buried by the small dunes behind the long, wide sandy beach which stretches from the Orne River mouth at Merville-Franceville to Cabourg.
