Stp201 Cap Levi 'Seeadler'

Headland site for searchlights and anti-aircraft guns

Stp201 site overview

What to see

Wn201 Cap Levi Seeadler (Sea Eagle) is one large site made up of four widerstandsnests on a prominent headland which features a lighthouse, port, and semaphore station today.
The site's main function was as a anti-aircraft batterie, providing protection for the nearby gun batteries of Brulay, Hamburg, and Judee.
Much of the site stands on farmland and areas have been fenced off or left to overgrow to deter visitors. Other parts have been incorporated into the modern lighthouse and semaphore station so are difficult to access too.
However, a walk along the coastal path from the Fort de Cap Levi to the lighthouse (or vice versa if you park at the small car park near the lighthouse) will put you in range of the searchlight stands and a small Tobruk near the path.
